Webglits Technologies Pvt Ltd is a web design and development company based in Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District. We build websites, online stores, web applications and mobile apps for businesses here, across Tamil Nadu, elsewhere in India and for a number of clients in the Gulf. Everything we sell is delivered in-house — we do not subcontract the work and put our name on it.

Most of what we do is for businesses that are well regarded locally and invisible online: a clinic that everyone in the area recommends but nobody can find on a phone, a manufacturer whose buyers are in another state, a shop losing enquiries because its site takes eight seconds to load on mobile data. The work is rarely exotic. It is getting the ordinary things right, on the screen your customers actually use.

Why speed decides more than design does

The single biggest difference between a site that produces enquiries and one that does not, in our experience, is how quickly it becomes useful on a phone on mobile data. Not on office broadband, where every site feels fine. On a mid-range Android handset with two or three bars, which is how a large share of your visitors will arrive.

So we build lean. No page-builder bloat, images compressed properly and served in modern formats, and only the code the page genuinely needs. Every build targets under two seconds, and we test on throttled connections rather than assuming. A visitor who leaves before the page appears is indistinguishable from a visitor you never had.

Being found is a separate problem from being good

A common and expensive misunderstanding is that a new website brings customers. It does not, by itself. A better site converts more of the people who already reach you, which is valuable — but if nobody is searching for you, or you appear on page four when they do, design cannot fix that.

Getting found is SEO, which earns visibility over months and keeps it, or advertising, which buys it this week and stops when you stop paying. For most local businesses the honest answer is both, with ads covering the months while search builds. We will tell you which of the two your money should go to first, even when that is not the project we were asked to quote for.

You keep the keys

Your domain, hosting account, content, logins and source code are registered in your name from day one and handed over properly. We say this on nearly every page because of what we keep finding when businesses come to us from elsewhere: a domain in a former developer's name, hosting on an agency account, source code never handed over, and an owner discovering years later that the thing they paid for was never actually theirs.
