The short version. We collect the details you type into our contact or quote form, and nothing else that identifies you. We use them to reply to your enquiry. We do not sell them, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we delete them if you ask. Everything below is the same statement in full.

1. What we collect
There are only two ways this website collects information about you directly: the contact form and the quote request form. Both are voluntary, and the fields shown on the form are the only personal details we ask for.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, payment card details, bank credentials, passwords, identity document numbers or health information through these forms. If a project genuinely requires something sensitive, we will agree a secure way to handle it separately.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our web server keeps standard access logs - the requesting IP address, the page requested, the time, and the browser's user-agent string. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure, are used for security and diagnosing faults, and are not combined with form submissions to build any profile of you.
2. What we do with it
We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, to prepare a quote, and, if you become a client, to carry out the work and keep in touch about it. That is the whole purpose.
Specifically, we do not:
- Sell, rent or trade your details to anybody.
- Add you to a marketing list because you made an enquiry.
- Send you promotional messages you did not ask for.
- Use your information to build advertising profiles.
- Share your enquiry with other clients or third parties for their own use.
3. Where it is stored, and who can see it
When you submit a form, two things happen. The submission is written to a file on our web server, and it is emailed to [email protected] so that we see it. Both copies sit within our own systems.
Access is limited to the people at Webglits Technologies Pvt Ltd who deal with enquiries and carry out the work. We are a small team, so in practice that is a small number of named people rather than a department.
Service providers we rely on
We do not sell your data, but running any website involves a few providers who necessarily handle it as part of delivering their service:
- Our hosting provider, which stores the website and the submission files on its servers.
- Our email provider, which carries the notification message containing your enquiry.
- Google, where advertising or analytics measurement is active on the site - see section 5.
These providers process the information to provide their service to us. They are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for two years from the date you send them, so that we can refer back to an earlier conversation if you come back to us. After that they are deleted.
Where you become a client, project records and the correspondence relating to your work are kept for as long as we work together and for a reasonable period afterwards, including anything we are required to retain for tax and accounting purposes under Indian law.
Server access logs and the temporary files used for spam rate limiting are kept only briefly and are cleared automatically.
5. Cookies, analytics and advertising
This site does not use cookies for advertising profiles of its own, and it does not set tracking cookies simply for you to read a page. Two things are worth explaining honestly:
Google Analytics and Google Ads
Where Google measurement is enabled, Google's tag may set cookies that record how people found the site and which pages they visited. We use this to understand which pages are useful and whether our advertising is worth the money. It tells us about patterns across visitors - it does not tell us who you are, and we make no attempt to connect it to the details you type into a form.
You can block these entirely in your browser settings, or with any of the common content blockers, and nothing on this site will stop working as a result. Google publishes its own explanation of how it handles data on sites that use its services, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across all websites using Google's browser add-on.
What we deliberately avoid
Fonts are served from our own server rather than a third party, so reading this page does not quietly send a request to somebody else's infrastructure. There are no social media tracking pixels, no session-recording tools watching how you move your mouse, and no third-party chat widget collecting what you type before you have decided to send it.
Links to other websites
This site links to client websites, our social profiles and our own product sites. Once you follow a link, you are on somebody else's website and their privacy policy applies rather than this one. We are not responsible for how other sites handle your information.
6. Security
The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, so what you type into a form is encrypted in transit. Our forms carry spam protection and rate limiting, and access to the stored submissions is restricted.
We should be straightforward about the limits of that. No website can promise absolute security, and anybody who does is overstating it. What we can say is that we keep only what we need, keep it for a limited period, and do not circulate it further than the reply to your enquiry requires.
7. Your rights over your information
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and as a matter of our own practice, you may at any time:
- Ask what we hold about you. We will tell you.
- Ask us to correct it if something is wrong.
- Ask us to delete it. We will, and you do not need to give a reason.
- Withdraw consent you previously gave for us to contact you.
- Raise a grievance about how we have handled your information.
To do any of these, email [email protected] or call +91 90430 22255. We will respond within a reasonable period and, for a deletion request, confirm once it is done. There is no charge, and asking will not affect any work we are doing for you.
Children
This website is aimed at businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us their details, contact us and we will delete them.
8. Client projects and data we handle for you
This policy covers information you give us through this website. It is worth noting separately that when we build a website or an application for a client, that system may collect information from your customers.
In that situation you are responsible for that data and for having your own privacy policy covering it. We act on your instructions in setting the system up, we do not use your customers' data for any purpose of our own, and the database and hosting account are in your name. Where a project needs a formal data processing agreement, we are happy to sign one.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and change the date at the top of it. Material changes will be reflected here rather than announced quietly, and the current version is always the one published at https://webglits.in/privacy-policy.
